We made it.

We made it.

I know this sounds weird but this is what I was thinking the other night when Drea woke up screeching at the top of her lungs because she had a nightmare.

I was sitting on her floor by her bed holding this gigantic little 3 yr old (I say "gigantic" because after holding a 4 month old most of the time, Drea seems like this huge little person). And I just began to think... she's 3 1/2 and we've made it! Not that I ever thought we wouldn't make it but probably some of the times were questionable.

We made it.

We made it through - up all night teething, making it to the potty and not so much making it to the potty, throwing up, nightmares, first steps and bumps & bruises, our first dental cleaning & first dance recital and many, many other things.

We made it.

I was thinking as Charlotte is getting ready to start teething that we made it through one - we can do it again.

I know, I know, there is so much to make it through...first days of school, learning to ride a bike, trying out for some kind of team, and of course, the teenage years...but it made me feel great to be holding this gigantic 3 year old and think...

We made it.
